Terms of service
The agreement between you and Eskiz.ai when you use eskiz.ai and the Eskiz app. Written to be read, not skimmed past.
Last updated 30 September 2026
1. This agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Eskiz.ai (“Eskiz”, “we”). By creating an account or using Eskiz, you accept them. If you use Eskiz for an organisation, you confirm that you may accept these terms on its behalf, and “you” includes that organisation.
Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, and is part of this agreement.
2. The service
Eskiz is design software for sketching and 3D modeling, in which a model is described by its parameters and the drawings follow from it. It is in early access: features will be added, changed and sometimes removed, and we cannot yet promise that every part will always be available. We will tell you before we remove something you rely on, whenever we reasonably can.
The free plan has limits, such as the number of projects and editors. They are shown in the app and on the plan page, and they may change with notice.
3. Accounts and workspaces
- Give accurate details, and keep your sign-in to yourself.
- An account is for one person. You must be at least 16.
- Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account.
- A workspace’s owners and administrators decide who its members are and what they can do. When you join someone else’s workspace, its owner controls the work in it.
4. Your work
Everything you create or bring into Eskiz — sketches, models, parameters, drawings and exports — stays yours, or your organisation’s. You give us the permission needed to store, copy, process, transmit and display it, only to run Eskiz for you and for the people you choose to share it with. This permission ends when the work is deleted, apart from copies in backups, which roll off in the normal course.
We do not use your work to train AI models, and we do not claim any right to it beyond what running Eskiz requires. You are responsible for having the right to use what you put into Eskiz.
5. AI features
Eskiz includes features that use AI models to answer questions, build views of your work or propose changes to it. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable, and it is up to you to review it before you rely on it. A change proposed by the AI is applied only when you accept it, and it can be undone like any other change. What the AI produces for you is yours to use, as far as the law allows.
6. Professional responsibility
Eskiz is a tool for designing. It is not a substitute for professional judgement, engineering verification, building codes, permits or manufacturing checks. Check dimensions, tolerances and fitness for purpose before anything is built, manufactured or installed from an Eskiz drawing or model; that responsibility stays with you and your professional advisers.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t use Eskiz to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone else’s rights;
- upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful or abusive;
- probe, overload or disrupt the service, or get around its limits or its security;
- access accounts, workspaces or data that are not yours;
- copy the service itself, or scrape it to build a competing product;
- resell or sublicense access, unless we have agreed to it in writing.
8. Plans and payment
- Prices, and what each plan includes, are shown before you buy. Payments are processed by Stripe; taxes are added where they apply.
- Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for.
- We don’t refund partial periods, except where the law requires it. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you may have a right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days.
- If a payment fails, we will tell you and give you time to fix it. If it stays unpaid, or a workspace goes beyond its plan’s limits, the workspace may become read-only for editing. Your work is not deleted: you can still open and export it.
- We will give at least 30 days’ notice of a price change.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Eskiz, and delete your account, at any time from your account settings. Access closes at once, and the deletion is carried out after a 14-day grace period, in which you can change your mind. Export anything you want to keep before then.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or when the law requires it. Unless the situation is urgent, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.
10. What we promise, and what we don’t
We will run Eskiz with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, Eskiz is provided “as is” during early access, without any other promise — including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost revenue or lost data you could have backed up. Our total liability under this agreement is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and 100 euros.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or removes rights you have as a consumer.
12. Changes to these terms
We will post any change here with a new date. If a change matters, we will tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don’t agree, you can stop using Eskiz and delete your account before then.
13. Law and disputes
This agreement is governed by the laws of the country where Eskiz.ai is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts. Before going to court, please write to us: most problems are settled faster that way.
14. Contact
Eskiz is not open to the public yet. Before it opens, this section will give the address to write to about these terms.
